After the storm, this little critter was just hanging onto this snack for dear life swinging in the wind

More cloud an a quick arvo storm. I have spent plenty of time over the years trying to get good lightning shots. I have a few ok ones but am still chasing something special. This was from our backyard

These guys are just my favourite animal around here. Pelicans just fascinate me and I can photograph them all day

Its been a wonderful day. Too much to eat and drink, a mid arvo nap, watch Christmas Vacation with the kids and drift off to sleep. My Xmas tree is looking a bit inter galactic by bed time
